This is a no brainer. What is great about this yoga block is its simplicity. It's bigger than most, which right of the bat is a bonus because it allows you to get into poses easier. Another thing about this yoga block that is great is how firm it is. You definitely feel that you are not going to crush it while you lean on it for support.

I wish more companies would make quality, over-sized yoga blocks instead of the standard stuff which are basically cheap imports! This is a GREAT product!

Being new to yoga (via the P90x workout) I wasn't exactly sure what equipment I would need. After a bit of research, I found these blocks on Amazon and decided to give them a shot.

I was a bit concerned at first that they would be too flimsy but I'm happy to report that they are, in fact, quite sturdy! The rounded edges make them easy for a beginner like me to use them flat, on the short side or the tall side depending on how much support I need. Hopefully with continued practice I'll get flexible enough to stop using them, but they're a necessity for me at this point.

On a lighter note, the green blocks (tennis ball colored) with the (a) symbol make them a little more fun to reach for. . . when I'm destroying my hamstrings and calves with some of these stretches, little things like that go a long way :) These have a 'cool factor' that some of the other blocks I reviewed lacked. (Then again, I'm a sucker for Apple products as well. )

The yoga blocks made such a hit in our class that my instructor plans to place a large order. She loved them and the price was great! They were about 1/4" smaller than the older ones she has, but they are sturdy and the green color makes them easy to find at the end of the class. You are sure you are always getting your own blocks back.

I like these blocks. nice rounded edges, strong down the center (where the white support strip runs), appealing texture and color. Yoga teacher - & I would purchased them again.
