It’s a long solenoid and it works well. Very pleased with this product, but after that wanted to get a lot of tools on it, I realized that I have too many tools for just a bar. I will probably buy more of these in the near future. I think it came with Drywall anchors, but I put it directly into the wood because of the weight plus that of the tools associated with it. I just hung it up in my garage and I’m back to order another two. I’m really impressed at how well the works. I think I am back to purchase more talk about how pleased I am with the product. I just hung this thing in the closet where I hang my tools. So far it’s holding 9 screwdrivers, 3 chisels, a 16-ounce and 22 ounce hammer, and finally a £ 2 sled. (I tried to keep the wrench, but I think it was too much for the magnet with everything else on it. Believe me, there is not room for it anyway.) This magnet is strong! I was worried that the tools can come off easily, but I do not think there is a problem nu.I basis, I am really impressed by how well this works, and I plan on buying some more for my shop and around the house. Just remember to screw in the studs or something that will hold all the weight that you put on it. It comes with large sheet-rock anchors, and some heavy duty bolts, but I would expect that the sheet-rock will give way this magnet makes! If you intend to use it to keep the kitchen knives or something easy as it ought to screws and anchors work well anyway. (Neither is in the rack does not come with wood screws, so you’ll probably need to use yourself if you choose to hang it so that I suggested. But that is with two screws, so no big deal.) I ordered this product before. I use one in my kitchen for my knives and keep them near the stove and bench. There is one in the barn for my tools and where the new comes into the garage for additional tools I use in the house often. The magnet is strong and will also hold a hammer or Pipe wrench but it is easy to remove verktyget.Great device! Recommend it highly! Will eventually need another. Rating: 5 / 5
