do not buy this tape! I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga at an advanced beginner / early intermediate level for about a year. I have been fortunate to have great live instructors in my area who taught me the forms and breathes well. Recently, because of money and time constraints, I have been practicing at home – in general I Freemans two hours because immunization tape is excellent, but I have not always two hours each day to devote to yoga and I longed for a little variety. One of my yoga teacher recommended trying pillates as an exercise form that can improve my yoga. I tried this Austin band, because it would be a mix of yoga and Pilates. I am here to say that Denise Austin dangerous practice Yoga! She explains it is not good enough and does not seem to know them well enough to accurately describe the proper breathing and positioning. I am very aware what I do and found myself questioning many of the movements and the movements she suggests I do. Many of her movements seemed unplanned and occurs without intent or focus. Her version of exacution seemed particularly dangerous for the knees and joints. As a side note was pillates chalenging not. although there had been diversity form my regular workout, and she is super busy, I am sure the primary series ashtanga or vinyasa flow serious tape series can deliver a better core strength training and at the same time improving the mind, breathing and body at the same time. I just received this “band” and is very upset with the situation. I did my search in DVDs and clearly just searched for them. Found a used one and they sent me to VHS. The price is so cheap for the used one that I would pay triple what the band does to send it back to who sold me this from Amazon. Just did a search again and it’s exactly the page where I bought it from. Very misleading! Rating: 1 / 5

This must be the worst fitness videos I’ve ever seen. I am both a certified Yoga, Pilates and Spinning instructor, and a physiotherapist, and Austin’s technology is terrific. The Pilates section is not that bad, but the yoga aspect is shameful. I would try to sell my purchase, but I do not want anyone to see the horror! I think I will burn it instead! Rating: 1 / 5
