First the bad. . . Nothing taste of a fresh vegetable or fruit! I did Natalia “green lemonade” in the morning and I do not know how she has managed to take something so pure and wonderful to the palate and make it taste like the bottom of an aquarium. I’ve been an avid juicer for over 12 years now and I’ve never tasted anything quite so disgusting! The fact that she added stevia to it came to me and I was right. . more Blech! If you choose to buy this book, try stevia juice without first! I’d rather start my body i am with warm lemon water with a drop or two of stevia to reduce acidity (as hot juice). It seems she is part of the stevia “green juice” (which for some reason wicked people rave about!) To reduce the “green” taste. But green is delicious (for me at least!)! Another way to pretty it is natural to add a green apple. . . so much more palatable, but there is a reason she did not add fruit to vegetables! After not being able to drink the “green lemonade” I decided that maybe my palette is a little different and chose the Fat Flush 4 Life (Anne Louise Gittleman’s) compared to the early Rose plan in horror the rest of her recipes can also Blech! Now me. . I did not detox but it was her book because she is informative 4 sure (that’s why she gets two stars. -3 Stars for the first thing I try to be non-edible)! If you are interested in juicing there are countless books out there on the issue, but my favorite is the one that came with my Juiceman juicer 12 years ago! If you are looking for a non-raw detox, may I suggest Anne Louise Gittleman’s detox. Diet is a personal thing. . . Here’s to great success in whatever path you take! Just make it a healthy!

This book made sense when I read it. She makes several good points. I was excited about starting her program. Then I ate (or tried to) some of her recipes. Her morning drink was completely undrinkable. I managed to choke down a few salads, but after three days can not get a new one. I am not a picky eating and usually very easy to please but it got to the point that I would not eat at all rather than eating one of the recipes from this book. There are many detox plans (and good tasting juices) that are much more manageable than that. Rating: 1 / 5

I hesitate to even write this, but I had such a difficult experience with this program that I thought I would write something in hopes it might help someone else. The first are the things I loved about this book: Very fun to write and personality – Natalia is beautiful and obviously very passionate about what she writes recipes – this book got me to eat vegetables on a whole new way and love it! Motivate – I was very excited about this first few weeks I have tried den.Jag are very health conscious and picked up this book hoping to lose some weight and feel better. I started juicing in the morning and with salads and steamed vegetables the rest of the day. I also bought a mini-trampoline and began to bounce, which I loved. But I soon felt that this plan was to take me in a frightening direction. Not only did it feel as if I had spent my whole life to prepare meals, pressing, etc. but I have been eating less than I ever have and you gain weight. I became very obsessed with weight and diet and began to look good and healthy foods (like cereals, fruit, nuts, etc.) that dåliga.Lång story short, I ended up with the beginning of an eating disorder. Now I do not blame this on the book, but the things I learned from this book definitely helped. It has taken me a while to move on from this, but I have started to eat again in a very healthy way and I lose weight and feel good. (I ended up at Rick Gallop The Low GI Diet). So my suggestion, pick up this book for some interesting views, but if you are prone to obsessing over weight, food, etc. to try something else. Rating: 2 / 5
