Everything’s great about this piece of equipment except for the miserably inadequate assembly instructions. Wow — it’s sad when the Cautions and Warnings are more comprehensive . . .

I purchased this elliptical machine for my husband because I had read several reviews that were quite favorable. I have not been disappointed by the machine, although I AM disappointed with how little my husband has used it. The item is quite heavy, so was difficult for us to get to the second floor of our house. Even though we brought it up piece by piece, the main piece was the part that we struggled with. We ended up doing some damage to our wall as we pushed and shoved the thing up the stairs. Assembly was not hard at all. I had read the warnings by others who said to pay close attention to the instructions, so I did. Everything went together very well. The only critisizm I have is that there is a decorative sleeve that needs to be put over the neck of the machine before other parts are assembled and there was nothing in the instructions about this sleeve. We found it in the box after we had assembled the entire machine and then had to take apart most of what we had done to get this sleeve on. Look for the sleeve before you put anything together and put that on FIRST.
The machine works like a champ, when it is used. It is extremely quiet and runs very smoothly. It is also very sturdy. There are many handy features. All in all, I am quite please with this purchase. With the $100 credit from Amazon. com, I paid just $1,700. It was listed at a much higher price on the company web site and in Consumer Reports magazine.

I’m not going to say a lot. It’s a great product. It’s super quiet, you barely hear it at all. . . . the microwave is way louder than this machine. The programs are great. The workouts are great. Just buy it.

Thank you to the previous reviewer for giving great installation feedback. We knew what to look out for, and probably saved time and avoided frustration.
The assembly was easy – it took an hour perhaps or less. No headaches. The machine is compact and easily fit into the space we assigned. But best of all, it is so easy to use, has a variety of great and interesting programs, it moves so smoothly and it is quiet. I could not have asked for a better machine. I have used it every days since we got it, and my work out experience is just great. I was worried that the home machine would not stand up to the gymn ones, and that somehow I would be disappointed. I think this one is better – and using it at your convenience – what more could you ask for?
Update: I have been using the machine for 2 months now and absolutley love it. I like all the different programs, and look forward to working out – hope it stays this way!

This machine is well worth the money. It is very quiet and does not wobble when you use it. The stride length is perfect for my 5′4″ frame. The instructions could have been written better, but if you follow them closely and fill in the blanks yourself, you will complete it in about 45 min to an hour- just read ahead a few steps.
