First of all, I do not like the production quality of the video. The instructions are in the narration, the setting is something special and the music is hemskt.Jag usually do not like voice over instructions because I find it difficult to engage in the practice and I know too much distance between people in the film and me. Setting (Elise performs on a surface of wood in the garden of a villa by the sea) but beautiful, also added a sense of distance and coldness of the practice. Last but not least the music is quite excited about, not the classical music you’d expect from a ballet-inspired träning.Den first part of training is a traditional barre exercises where you use a chair as your support. These movements are extremely sad if it is operated in line with the music. Elise does not instruct on the posture and the correct way to perform movements. This will make this part of the video, pretty useless unless you have a solid background in Barre work. In fact, the right muscles only be used if the movement is carried out with extreme precision. I know this because I used to take ballet classes 2 times per week and it took me a year of constant reminders of my teachers before I could engage the right muscles and feel arbete.Du then put the chair aside and start a session of hope. Again, useless unless you have the right technology and the Elise is not there to give you some tips. The last part is a series of Pilates abdominal work at around 10 minutes which is ok.Jag bought this DVD hoping to add some variety and a bit more speed on my passport (I used to enjoy my years of ballet class back), but it is so dull and uninspiring that I rarely will reach for det.Om you’re looking for the myth of a dancer’s long, lean body (which is basically a myth, it is important to be healthy and feel good about himself) I think that you can achieve better results by switching some light cardio, pilates, light weight training, and sometimes dance to real music! On a side note – the comment about the production company doing mostly softcore porn, but made me lol, could be in place. The production quality of the video is very cheap faktiskt.Betyg: 2 / 5

I was really happy about this but it is not so good. I stopped after about 10 minutes because I was rather bored with routine. I also agree with other people that it hurts your knees! Rating: 2 / 5

This is not a conditioning class, it is only a beginning ballet class taught by a very average ballet dancer. I would not even recommend it to a beginner ballet student since you can pick up some bad habits that stuck out thumbs, and not working through your feet, which both the teacher is not routine. And she has no business to talk about how to develop long, lean like a dancer – she does ad nauseum – because it is not the type of body she has. She has a nice figure, but it is definitely not a ballet dancer’s body. If she has mainly used the dance as she help of physical activity (as she suggests) when she was with her quadriceps to lift your legs in développe, which is a definite no-no. If she comes out with an effective conditioning DVD, which can be good, but this has no redeeming value for me. Rating: 1 / 5

This was a fun-to-do video that was a good addition to my collection of home work-out videos. Now I have Yoga, Pilates, Cardio Kick-boxing and ballet. A well-rounded collection. Rating: 5 / 5

I really dislike this DVD. I think her technique is very poor and did not like her a lot of combinations. Nature is very beautiful, but training is not good. There are so many better workouts based on the ballet out there. Rating: 2 / 5
