I thought I was buying a new book, that’s what the information provided. Although the book is in good condition, it is not new at all, it illustrates the entire inside of the chapters. Rating: 3 / 5

This is a tough book to follow. I do not know if there are comparable valuation books out there, but I did not find this book to be particularly useful or helpful. I used it for an MBA-level financial statement analysis class. Rating: 2 / 5

This book looks like an encyclopedia. It is dry and the chapters are ridiculously long. There are no bold words to take advantage of the key concepts and definitions in other books (I wish this book had it). Must read this book for a college course, and it’s like pulling teeth! Rating: 1 / 5

I have used this book for my accounting class analysis in my MBA program and I can not say it was a bad book. Since I am neither a firm or an accounting major, this book helped me learn a lot. . . Maybe if you’re looking for really very detailed book, the FSA, it may not satisfy you. . . . . . . . . . Rating: 4 / 5

I am a finance major and understand the WACC, CAPM, and the measurement very well. Unfortunately, this book better editing. The only thing I can think of is that Stickney, Brown and Wahlen are all business people with some writing ability. They know what they’re talking about, but need to find an editor with book knowledge to facilitate the verbage. There is no reason why this book should be 1000 pages. It is a good intro to the valuation, but do even the most seasoned finance majors in her hair sometimes. Rating: 1 / 5
