Simply not functioning heart rate monitor, period. Garmin needs to team with Polar. GPS functionality is good. Now I wear 405CX on my left wrist and my “old” Polar on my right wrist. When I bought 405CX from Amazon, I also received “free” one Forerunner 50th It did not work. I returned it to Amazon for a replacement. It did not work. I gave it to my daughter. It did not work for her. Junk. I guess it still works OK as a bell. Rating: 3 / 5

This is a very frustrating gadget. I got most of the functionality to work, but there has been a challenge, and important pieces remain unachievable. Here are the problems I encountered: 1. It defaulted to the Russian. Try to make a first configuration in Russian. There are no entries in handbooks on how to change language and menu board systems do not help when you can not read det.2. Quick start manual outdated information – eg the URL given to download the software for your computer to work with the clock is completely fel.3. I have never had a clock that is synchronized with Foot Pod for pacing information, etc. They do not work tillsammans.4. The clock still will not sync with my PC. They know each other, communicate the beginning, attempts to transfer information, then it flashes “failed.” It tries again every few minutes they are within reach of each other. This is a common problem. If you do a Google search you will find hundreds of others with this problem – with some esoteric solutions that work for some and not for others. None of them work for mig.5. Technical Support. Technical support is not responding. You can stay on hold as long as you want, but no one will ever answer. This is very frustrerande.6. It is hard to read, and difficult to manipulate while driving. Some of the readings are too small, and then press the call is hard to take when you are in rörelse.7. It is bulky and heavy. I thought it would be thinner and lighter. I was surprised when I put it on. It felt like it was from 1980 talet.Totalt to watch, heart monitor and foot pod was about $ 450. 00th There are a lot of money for a piece of junk, which is what this is when important functions do not work, functions that do not work are difficult to use when you use it (ie while driving), and you can not get any help from their support . I tend to buy these types of gadgets for fun, but I read the reviews and was quite happy that I could get a decent GPS clock. My previous Garmin was so ridiculously large that I have only worn it twice. Hopefully I can find a man who would like to buy it from mig.Här are my first thoughts after having spent about 20 minutes trying to fix my settings .- Garmin, please hire a gifted female engineers, so you can design something for a woman wrist. Did you know that women are rapidly becoming the majority gender in the races? We have small wrist (my wrist circumference is only 5 1 / 2 inches), and the big guys of hard plastic and ugly wrist bands that are not suitable, nor are they very comfortable. Either make a woman’s watch design or something more flexible! – Take a cue from Apple and design a GPS watch that is intuitive and easy to use even without a manual. I wanted to throw my watch against the wall when I began to set up, and I wondered why the hell I spent $ 400 on something that sucked out lådan.Jag take out for a spin tomorrow (regular & driving ranges) so we’ll see how it actually works and feels. Buy this screen now. Easy to use and small enough so you do not think you have a laptop on your wrist. The bezel touch menu navigation can be sensitive to shocks, but the lock function will solve most of your problems. Good product. Rating: 4 / 5
