So far so good on this. I purchased this some months ago and it is still very firm and not loose where you feel you are getting a good work out. I cant see using this alone without incorporating other excercise but it will do the job when combining it or using it on a more relaxed excercise day.

Although the resistance is firm I didnt see much difference when tightening it and wish their was a little more range on it.

I love this little piece of equipment! It’s small, quiet and easy to use. Just put on some music and you’re good to go!
Pro: It came nearly fully assembled. All I had to do was attach a cable around a wheel and screw in the workout bands to the front.
Con: Like the previous reviewer, I too had trouble screwing in one of the bands. It went in crooked and I needed pliers to turn in to get it all the way in.
Pro: In the beginning, I could only do a few minutes. 3 weeks later I’m doing 35 minutes and about 1200-1500 steps. The resistance is stronger when you first start up. As you keep going, the hydraulic thingies get warmed up and are less resistant, but that’s when you can really go faster and get your heart rate up.
Con: I ended up taking off the workout bands because using them threw off my balance and my rhythm. I use hand weights instead. I also do my workout near a door where I can hold on if I need to. There is another model that has a handle. I would recommend that one for people who are afraid of losing their balance.
Pro: My pants fit better now because my thighs and butt have gotten noticably smaller! It really works!

This stepper is average. There’s nothing spectacular but it does its job and it’s a good price. For some reason when I tried to screw in the band into the right side it wouldn’t screw in all the way (whereas the left was fine). But it still works. I wish there was a tension setting on this because after using it a couple times I need a little more resistance. But I love that it’s small and lightweight and I can just pull it out when I’m not in the mood to trek to the gym.
