I had to give one star. should be a no star. The unit has worked only once – after that would work one minute and closing. since problems with the trip began. I will never buy anything online again with an on-off switch. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought the first one of these in December from Sears. The massage was nice, although I knew massagers grinding a bit in their holes in the top of the cushion. But now I tried to turn on the heat, the whole thing just stopped dead and I could not get it to run again at all. I took it back and it was replaced. I was afraid to try the heat option again until recently, and with good reason – the second cushion died in exactly the same way! No more of these for me – I am outside the return window for the second, so I’ll just take it as a 99 $ lesson not to trust Homedics products and spring for a more reliable massages. Rating: 1 / 5

Sadly to say, this product did not meet my expectations at all. For one, it was not low enough down the back to reach the really painful areas. The pressure to my upper back were very stiff and painful and just beat my legs not my muscles. I wish it would reach over my shoulder blades and part of my neck. I have really severe fibromyalgia and I was so I hope it would give me relief. Sorry for the poor review. Rating: 2 / 5

I bought this chair along with SBM-300H series and they both have problems with the remote part of the chairs. I returned the first seat I got (SBM-300) to Amazon and they refunded me, but then I had to replace the last two I bought and returned them both to the seller in the hope that I can get better seats. They are really nice to have when they work but for how long is a good question. This will make the third seat that I had to pay. I like shopping with Amazon, but it is frustrating when they are hard to come by, because customer service is not easy to contact, which is not user friendly. Rating: 3 / 5
