    This is an excellent workout. I have worn out several of these Nordic Track ski machine – it takes me about 6 years of use because they are pretty much shot. You can replace the critical components, but better is to find a used one in excellent condition, built in Minnesota when they first came out. The latter units are made in Asia are built on the same plans but you will quickly discover that the quality is not the same. The training is approximately 7-14 METS depending on how you set the upper body and stretch on the skis. Not everyone thinks that it is easy to use – unless you have a pretty good sense of balance can be tricky. Rating: 3 / 5
