One of the most common sources of fat in anyone’s daily life comes from
snacking. Now this snacking is in two parts and includes not only foods
but drinks as well. Everyday, throughout the day we all get thirsty or
even develop a little bit of hunger in between meals and especially
while we are working.
Everyone probably have some "reserve" stashed in their place of work
and they
will usually stare at it for 5 minutes before making the decision to
purchase a can of soda and a bag of chips to get them through to the
next break period.
These chips and the soda all have fats and bad things that a person who
is attempting to loose weight does not need to ingest. How many people
have sat there looking at the soda machine and constantly bypass that
orange or pineapple juice because you get less for your money as
compared to the 12 oz. can of soda.
Well you shouldn’t because when you
think about it, that small can of orange juice or pineapple juice, if
they have even a slight amount of pulp in them can easily replace the
need for that bag of chips. This means also a little bit of money
savings in the process.
Sodas are bad for you, they contain large amounts of sugars as well as
caffeine. This caffeine will never stop your thirst for the simple fact
that it will dehydrate you even more.
Even though it may taste good and go
down with ease, you should make every attempt to pass on any type of
soda, including diet sodas. What’s that you though diet sodas were safe
because of their fake sugar? Well they are not, the syrup used in most
dark sodas can lead to gall stones and other complications later on in
life.
Keeping yourself hydrated and free of hunger pains throughout the whole
day may not be an easy task but it can be made easier by simply
switching to pulpy fruit juices which can cure a thirsty palate as well
as curb those hunger pains.
