Hi, When shopping for my treadmill walk I noticed that some of the walks were much shorter than others and tried to get my husband to shop with me. He is not a shopper thus refused and stated they are all just get the cheapest. I did. I am very happy with this treadmill that serves exactly that I bought it for. But just as I suspected would happen, my husband hates it because his legs are too long for it and he feels very uncomfortable to take short steps when walking. (My husband is 6 ‘long). It arrived much faster than that indicated when I ordered which was very exciting for me. My old treadmill had broken and it was too cold for me to go outside! Hope this helps . That’s exactly what I’m looking for: no frills, pedestrian level, monitors time, distance, calories and walking speed. I agree that the pedestrian is short but I’m 5′3 “which works perfectly for me. I can see that there can be a problem for those with long steg.Den weighing 100 pounds who demanded my sister’s strength to carry into the house. Assembly is pretty easy. The pedestrian / belt is already mounted. The arms and legs must be attached (easily). display unit must have their electrical connections connected (quite easily). Then attach the display unit to the designated front bar (also quite easy). You will apply the supplied oil in the band once a year (already done before it ships, for the first year). This post is meant to hold 350 pounds a person. I think det.Mitt only complaint about this treadmill is that it is very difficult to restart after pulling the “kill switch” (as I did the test). I followed the instructions in the booklet that comes with this and still took several manual restarts the treadmill would work. I repeated this several times to see if it still followed this pattern and it does. I was looking for something compact to fit in my living room. I did not realize just how short walking surface is. I’m an average height woman and I do not recommend this treadmill to someone higher than myself. Although I must be careful not to have my foot roll of the surface in the back as she walked. Otherwise, many other good qualities. Robust design, easy installation, the controls are easy to use and it is so quiet that even watching TV when she walked. Rating: 4 / 5
