I have taken up the process. I knew I needed to get a picture where I stand on my pulse. I looked at a lot of other brands and models and settled on this. I just started using it and it’s very accurate and works great. My only complaint is to work through the menu and pressing, very hard on your fingers, buttons Rating: 4 / 5

I looked at a lot of monitors and read a lot of reviews and finally settled on Polar FT4. The figures for heart rate, calories burned, and time is large enough to read. I wanted a monitor that gave calories burned so I chose this. The monitor looks good and is not nerdy. It is a bit expensive. I must say that I bought the right one for me. Rating: 5 / 5

So my coach, I proposed a heart rate monitor watch, but for one, was still quite expensive at the time and truthfully, not so appealing. I did not want a big thing on my wrist, I do not necessarily want to advertise to the world what I did! I just wanted something small enough to blend yet hopefully sweet enough to do the job. Then lo and behold, this watch was introduced, and what a great deal! One thing is, I actually thought for some reason the band was a bit of metal. . . There is no sense that there would be made of rubber or plastic, but the pictures – at least for me – make it seem like metal. In the review, I actually bought this watch in March but only started using it last week. It makes all the basics. I do not know about you guys, but my main goal was to see if what I did at the gym was negating the crap I eat during the day on the job (although I eat fairly healthy. It is a desktop that kills you). I find it a bit interesting to see how my heart rate varied when I do not exercise. It literally jumped back and forth between sitting at the computer for a brisk walk up the hill to my car, when it is fired up 15 beats sitting in rush hour LA traffic (ha-ha). You get used to the band very quickly (even if it would be nice to not have any at all … I do not struggle with it in the dressing room before a workout, but whatever.) It’s not like the bulge in your clothes, which is jättebra.Hur any time it will not build your grocery list or babysit your children, but it is a handy little device that does exactly what it must do. Oh and installation is a breeze, too. . . you do not even need the guide, really. Rating: 5 / 5
