[. . . ] I bought this product after researching different makes and models. After swallowing the purchase price, I chose this watch / monitor. It worked for three days and then I got the data information that was nonsense. At that time I was a bit of time researching the features / video / you name it – trying to figure out what was going on. Then I called Polar and was informed that some of these monitors had a defect. This error can be determined only by returning the watch. There are no messages directly to the product description of this problem. There is no information in the box – there is nothing to facilitate the inconvenience to the customer. Instead, you are left to figure it out. So, at the beginning and end of the day, you must decide if it’s worth it for you. BTW, I got on the phone the same problem exists with some of the FT80’s – again – this time instead of paying [. . . ] – You can spend [. . . ] And go through the same aggravation. Goodluck. See my updated review of the black version of this watch, explaining that Polar did increase by another customer service rep and decided questions to my satisfaction. As mentioned, my original review titled “failed to inform”. Because of the actions taken by the Polar referenced in my detailed review, I would change my rating to a 4 or 5. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought my piece FT60 about two months ago for about $ 250. Had no problems with the watch but it fell a few times on the floor from about four meters in height – now after I swim I get water under the cover glass. Amazing, it’s a sports watch! I had a G-Shock one bought in Germany in 1999, it is still running on the original battery and I would not describe in detail how my kids played with it with a hockey stick. POLAR should pay more attention to the shock resistance. Rating: 1 / 5
