One home product that feels and looks like a the gym, but is smaller, lighter and more affordable. I tried it at my local fitness store the other day and thinking of buying a this week. I’d never use an elliptical trainer before, not a gym rat, just exercise bikes, treadmills and Nordic Trak machines. This machine has a chest strap through the pressure-sensitive devices and are programmable for 8 different programs during which the machine will automatically change the pitch of the slope and resistance. There are two user positions and one visiting position. The display shows the time, or stay, distance traveled, and calories expended, based on weight. There is a water bottle holder and a tray innehavare.Maskinen came very well packaged. I had the freedom of assembly as a technician install it. I saw the church and there would not be difficult to do, and takes about half an hour. The technician was a former Precor dealers and thus very knowledgeable Precor products. He told me that this model is not manufactured in the U.S., as well as the commercial models, but is built in Taiwan, which I can not confirm. However, he was very impressed with the build quality. As I have the essential ingredients and quality of stock, nothing cheap or flimsy about it. Very smooth and quiet gång.Det is 25 “wide and about 72″ long. My only problem is the distance between the foot platforms. I’m standing, running and cross-country ski with your feet closer together than the position of the platforms. In other words, I have to stand on platforms with my feet pressed against the inner edges. As a person for whom hip replacement is inevitable, this elliptical trainer a great blessing. Precor EFX 5th 25 Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainer is a sophisticated and interesting example of the next generation of home fitness equipment. It is so well constructed that it may be the last piece of training equipment we’ll ever need. Its attractive design is appealing and I think that I do not mind looking at it that dominates the space I have dedicated utöva.Leveransen of this machine led to a freight carrier. The non-traditional driveways that my (low-hanging branches and gravel unit, which makes it impossible for half or a pallet jack to navigate) must plan ahead. As a freight company called a day before delivery, I could see that a pick-up was. This allowed the driver to easily transfer the box from the back of the semi on the back of the pickup. After positioning the load closer to the house with the pickup, it was a simple matter to open the box and carry equipment to the house piece by piece. It would be best if you had 2 strong and able people to carry themselves Crosstrainer because it does not come with wheels and must be carried out in one piece. (The shipping weight of this equipment was over 240 pounds.) After reading the enclosed instructions, it seemed to me that the assembly of the machine would not be a big challenge. It took him, and our 15 year old daughter, about 2 hours to assemble it. A single (strong) person could be expected to do the job, has a second available to keep things in place when they screwed up making the job much easier and faster. Precor provides the tools needed for assembly (see the uploaded photo in the “customer images”) but we found that you really need a socket wrench with an extension. It should be noted that you should not connect the equipment into a power strip or extension cord. The manual expressly requires a grounded outlet “Otherwise, the user is likely to invalidate your warranty. This machine draws 120V and must be properly installed, most importantly for safety. (By the way, before deciding to collect the machine ourselves, I did contact Precor and their designees for installed our area to make an appointment. The representatives of both companies were very helpful and professional and I had no objection to use their help would have been necessary.) The 5th 25 is one of the smaller home Crosstrainer Precor as engineers. It is very well equipped with moving handlebars, heart rate sensors, adjustable ramp (15 to 25 degrees) and adjustable voltage / resistance. With a stride length of the 18th from 5 to 20 inches, Precor 5th 25 is best for us given less weight. At 5′5 “, it fits me very comfortably, while my husband is 6′3″ should not “fully” get experience with this model. (Incidentally, the Precor 5th 33 has a stride length of 21 to 23 inches, while the Precor 5th 37’s stride varies from 21 to 24. 5 inches, might make these models better suited for those with longer legs.) Without regurgitating every bell and whistle already described by the manufacturer on the product page, let me note some of the features that I find useful . There are 2 programmable user profiles that allow you to monitor your progress and save your settings. The ramp is self-adjusting and making it very smoothly and naturally so that it enhances your training experience, rather than interrupt it. There are several different programs to choose from so you can take advantage of a variety of challenging (low power) elliptical workouts without danger “problem” areas such as weak or deformed hips, knees, etc… You can also jump on and do a “Quick Start” and manually enter your desired inställningar.Faktiska performance of the machine is a dream. All the movements are so well balanced and fluid machine actually feels like an extension of your body. No jerks or strains, and there are no unpleasant noises from the depths of who-knows-where puncturing your training. The manual indicates that this is normal and expected, but it does not happen when I train. According to the manual , has “the equipment is durability tested to 250 pounds.” Undoubtedly this is one of the most flexible and technologically advanced parts of exercise equipment I have ever encountered. While my own experience is limited to the industrial equipment at my local gym, cheap models offered in the “free” gym on the hotel and the ones on the floor at “big box” department stores, I’m never in force with very impressed with the quality, versatility and smart design of Precor 5th 25 Crosstrainer.Betyg: 5 / 5
