Seems to have a greasy film on it that I couldn’t’ get off. Causes you to slip at inopportune times. Wouldn’t recommend. Keep looking!

I needed a thicker mat because we have only hardwood floors and no carpet or rugs and it was getting a little hard on my knees with my older, thin mat. This mat has been great – good size, perfect padding against the hard floors and sticky enough to do everything I need to in my yoga routine. Cute color too – very soothing for my morning routine. . .

Ok so you might think that all yoga mats under $40 are pretty much the same. Wrong! This one is not only very uncomfortable and a little plastic-smelling but it is also incredibly slippery. I had the misfortune of trying it out for the first time at a yoga class and my downward dog turned very quickly into a drunk bear on ice. After I nearly bumped my head on the floor my yoga teacher gave me a couple of straps to lay on the mat for the duration of the class to keep my hands and feet from sliding. What a horrible experience!

“The mat is fine, though had a very plasticy “new” smell, had to wash it first couple of times. The different mat I bought before seems to be a little beter quality and never had that smell. Tha mesh bag is practical, as it lets the mat to breathe, but it takes slight efford to put the mat into it. ”

nice mat. it is slightly time consuming to get in the bag. perhaps velcro straps are better.
