I received the box today from UPS. The box was open, the shelves were bent, and the hang rails and other parts were missing.

This closet system works okay. However, the rails (horizontal part that screws into the wall) are not available separate from the kits. I had extra parts from the the kits I bought so I thought to use them in my garage (yeah I know but these were extra) but I needed the rails to make it work.
Contacting RubberMaid I was told that these rails are NOT AVAILABLE separately either direct from RubberMaid nor from a retail store. What a stupid marketing idea.

Used two of these to organize our closet. Easy to install. Able to change things around until we got everything where it would work best.

I bought this system for 2 secondary bedrooms in our new house. After installation we decided that we liked them so much, we would put them in our master closet and other walk in closet. They are very functional, seem durable and pretty easy to install. We bought the extra accessories such as shoe racks, belt hanger and maple 2 drawer add on (although they are quite overpriced, i saw the same maple drawer at Lowe’s for only $30. 00 but it wasnt made to hang on the wall). Overall I am very happy with the results. Our master closet looks great!
My only real complaint is that the system (especially the deluxe) should come with more upright pieces. We were careful to be very frugal with them as well. Since we were doing so many closets, we did end up with extra pieces that we then used on the next closet, but now we are ready to do the last closet and don’t have anymore upright pieces. I see they sell the 25 in ones for $10 a pop (which is crazy), but they don’t even offer the longer ones. I didnt want to buy another whole system just to get more uprigts. So, we did some looking and found some at Home Depot that seem to fit. The titanium color is not exactly the same, but by using only those in the same closet, it won’t be obviuos at all. And they were much cheaper!
Bottom line is that with the pieces u get, u can do the ideas on the box,but if u want to get more creative u need more uprights to hang the shelves on.
