This purchase was intended to be a second Schwinn 130 Upright exercise cycle for our holiday. We ordered one (1) cycling trhough Amazon, but inexplicably, arrived two. I refused one of the damaged box and off it went with the UPS truck and was immediately transferred back to our credit card on Amazon. It’s the good news. The bad news is the second cycle, thin metal body was crushed in transit, something we did not realize until we opened the box in perfect condition. That one was returned via UPS and Amazon also credited. Lesson: buy books and, perhaps, DVDs from Amazon. Buy something breakable elsewhere, preferably from a dealer who can take it to your page and set it as most of Amazon’s items that cycle comes from the fulfillment house or manufacturer and that results in a very risky management between the shipper and the buyer. This would apply especially during the frenzied holiday ordering / shipping season. Rating: 1 / 5

I tried several bikes and decided on this because of its program and it was quiet. The box we received was very tore up. There was no paperwork with the bike. We got the bike fitted and it is still very quiet, but that is because I rarely use it. I have tried many adjustments and my knees or hips crack because I can not get it set correctly. The seat is either too high or too low. I have never had a problem with cracking in the knees or hips. I had my husband try it and also his knees crack, regardless of seat position. There is something very wrong with this design. Rating: 2 / 5

When the bike came the main unit housing was broken in two places and did not fit properly – I never even set up. Amazon sent a replacement, as I sat up, but the flywheel is clear friction and thus the pedals can barely be turned, with a loud grinding noise, and of course, no work. I’m not sure if the bikes were ever made in the right way but clearly shipping boxes are inadequate. The result is that the buyer will be heavy (80 pounds) of garbage you have to pack myself to send back to Amazon. A complete and total rip-off. Rating: 1 / 5
