I’m not sure whose payroll these other reviewers are on, or maybe they are just having ever used an exercise bike after 1975, but this is a piece of junk. I own a Nordic Track ProRide and wanted to try this because it was a natural flywheel against the magnetic one of Nordia. Well, first out, it no longer feels like a real bike, so once I lost the deal. Do not get me wrong, I do not recommend Nordia either, but this thing makes it look like a Rolls Royce.När I took the Schwinn out of the box, it looked really quite high quality. The packaging was nice, seemed simple steps and the first 5 minutes felt like heaven. I actually thought to myself, wow, I’m going to write a GREAT review on this thing if it works half as good as it looks. Wrong. Within 10 minutes of reading the mind-numbingly stupid instructions, my girlfriend was trying to talk me out of throwing it into the sea. There are no explanations, very few exploded diagrams, and each seemed to be drawing from 20 feet away – not even with the full micro-size page of the booklet that the tillhandahöll.Jag read the other reviewers comments about bump knees and I thought he must do something wrong. Nope. If you’re not an Elf, remember this piece of junk. You will hit your knees if you even get near one träning.Displayen also attracted me to this bike. Nah ah. Crap, too. Hope you want to ride it in a dark room for the rest of your life, otherwise you will guess that träna.Mig not started on the seat. I hope that Tony Atlas is your neighbor. If no luck lock this puppy ner.Beskrivningen says something about a magazine rack. Where? Where would it go? I have a magazine rack for it – they called my hands. The display stands out so far, good luck and try to get an aftermarket rack här.Totalt seen on the idea and features of the bike sound great, and the pieces seem to be quality, but this is a very, very poorly executed design, and you will be unhappy if you ever used a proper exercise bike innan.Tyvärr Schwinn, it’s the last thing I buy from you. I really do not own the Schwinn 140 exercise bike, but I was thinking about buying one. Rather than ordering it from Amazon without trying it, I went to a local sporting goods store and tried it. Glad I did! The riding position this bike was just awkward. It was not right at all. It has a lot of adjustments, but I still could not get it to feel like bikes at the gym. I was also surprised at how close my knees came to rule. I wear 30 “Inseam pants, so I’m not hög.Anyway, there was another bike to try out this store – Proform an upright model with too many bells and whistles – games, ipod doc, etc – things I do not need. BUT, the riding position was comfortable, and the seat felt good. I did not buy it either, but it is on my list of possibilities. I totally agree with the other one star review. I would also add that my bike did not work. LED console does not work. I called the factory. They asked me to put a voltmeter on the wires (which I did but honestly, how many customers would)! Anyway, I gave up and finally in the process of shipping it back. This was my first purchase from Schwinn when I was a kid delivering papers. . . not the same company as I remembered. Rating: 1 / 5

The Schwinn 140 can be a wonderful product, but unfortunately I will never veta.Denna product seemed to fill the bill for a Christmas present for my son. A similar model (the 130) was the top-ranked stationary bike in a 2009 Consumer Reports issue. Plus, even though time was short, I can have it delivered by Amazon in time for Christmas. It came via UPS in a large box that looked slightly worse for wear, but instead of opening it, I decided to decorate the box for Christmas morning thinking that my son and I would move the box to his apartment for assembly. After all, that is where he would use den.Vi made the move to an apartment on the following Sunday. It was a bit of a struggle because the box was big, awkward and heavier than 80 pounds but in the end we got it into his lägenhet.Efter having read some reviews on Amazon before ordering, I was prepared for an hour of assembly. It took a lot mindre.Var not good news. We began to unpack, but before we had everything out of the box, saw my son to one of the parts were damaged. It was an end plug to the rear anti-roll bar. The end cap was cut in pieces, some still in plastic wrapper and some on the bottom of lådan.Vi saw no other damage so he called Amazon hoping we could get a replacement rear anti-roll bar with two good ends. The agent was a bit difficult to understand but in the end it was clear that Amazon could not / would not send replacement. We had no choice but to return it hela.Vid the point we are facing to get everything back in the drawer. Not an easy thing. We had not packed up with the idea that we might have to unpack it. Eventually we got everything back in the box and dragged it back to my house for UPS pick-up. They did pick up the next day – a Monday. From the consumer’s end it seemed easier to see get a replacement. At the end of the week I received an e-mail message said Amazon had issued me a refund – but nothing about shipping a new bike. Next Monday, I called customer service and was told that the refund was the end of the transaction as far as Amazon was. If I wanted a bike I would have to order again. My son said he liked the product so I did order it. One could quote “fool me once, etc.” but I ordered it ändå.Schwinn two came Friday. The whole thing seemed like Groundhog Day. On Sunday my son came over so we could lug the box to his apartment. He saw a big hole against the middle on one side of the box. He also took a picture of the hole with his mobile phone. I said, however, the hole was not in the position of the anti-roll bar. We decided to take the box to his apartment to fit all cases (I know, I know). This time we have noted in-box seats for the parts carefully as we unpacked. We did not get far with that pack, however. My son removed the rear anti-roll bar and saw that this was also cracked. I thought that I must have been cracked for ordering this thing again! Back in the box. Back to huset.Den This time I did not call customer service. I had no interest in another “replacement.” I went to Amazon’s website & saw that I could make back that way. UPS picked up the box the next day (another Monday – another £ 80 Box – I wonder what the driver thinks). At the end of the week I received an e-mail that the latest contribution behandlas.Det only positive thing I can say about this is that Amazon was very effective in obtaining a return picked up and processed for funding. Too bad it was not as effective to get a workable product for me. All I wanted was an exercise bike that did what the blurb on Amazon said it would göra.Som I said at the outset, I wish I could comment on how the Schwinn 140 performs, but I have never been told på.Betyg: 1 / 5

I bought two of these bikes because they were said to be quiet. They are! Very quiet. The reason is that my wife and I wanted to use them when you watch after dinner and wanted a quiet machine, and you can not even talk about the work, apart from the fact that you will sweat buckets after a short time. I had a broken wheels on the front are on a machine. I called customer service on the Schwinn and they told me I had to register the product first then send them an e-mail, they could not help me over the phone that many other companies do. It ticked off a little. So I registered and sent an e-mail, and it took a couple of days for them to return to e-mail, but said they will send a replacement. Not counting the Christmas holiday and Sunday, it took six days to arrive, which I thought was pretty rättvist.Det only thing I do not think the machine is displayed. In itself it is ok and easy to read and to ask if you just want to get on and ride and make your own adjustments as you ride. What I can not figure out, despite all the button pressing, is how to get information to keep a running record of my progress. Nor can I get it to give me a program to use without having to sit there and put everything back. It is not an overly important point for me because all I really want to do is get on and ride and adjust my voltage (easy to do) on the road in accordance with how I feel. Even when I turn it on (done by a shipyard on the pedals) it seems to have a time of about 30 minutes, and still counting, have already shown, and I have to stop it, delete it and start fresh each time. It’s like the machine does not shut down but the screen kept going. The instructions are pretty vague in these areas. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star. Rating: 4 / 5
