The Schwinn Active 20 Recumbent Bike arrived.
    The seat was not adjustable.
I contacted the supplier who sent me a replacement bike
an d instructions to get rid of (trash) the old bike.

I want amazon. com to know why I buy from them.

    Thank you amazon. com

I got this for my wife as an early Christmas present just before Thanksgiving. We have both been using it. Neither of us have any complaints thus far. The only reason I didn’t give it four stars is that we haven’t had it for very long so I don’t know about it’s durability.

The bike was super easy to put together! Probably took me about an hour by myself. I wish the seat was a little longer, but overall I’m quite satisfied with the product. I was looking at the ones with the fans, but when I checked those out at Sports Authority, they really weren’t worth the extra money.

The bike really is super quiet! The programs are easy to use. I think at the highest setting even a pro could get a descent cardio workout.

All in all its a good bike, but really only worth about $199. Anything over $200 for this would be too much.

My only problem was really with UPS. I wasn’t home when they tried to deliver it. They ALWAYS have left the product at my door, but since I live on the 2nd floor they were too lazy to bring this one upstairs. They left the box at the complex office and I ended up having to pay someone $30 to bring it to my door!

Easy to use and adjusts pretty well for different size users. Not quite as easy to peddle as bikes available in the health clubs and no arm action.

Bike arrived damaged- one of the pipes is dented so it cannot fit with another pipe. Amazon requires you to re-package the bike and send it back at your cost- ridiculous! Nautilus (which makes this bike) will not deal with the problem either, as it is still within the return or exchange period. We decided to try to bang the (****) out of the end of the pipe to see if we could piece it back together. We did get it together, and it worked for a couple weeks. . . but we shouldn’t have to settle for a broken bike- we paid the same $ as those whose did not get damaged in shipping! Now it is making a squeaking noise beneath the seat. Seems to be an unrelated problem. I think I read others had this problem as well. ANNOYING! Will have to see what others have done to resolve. If I could do this all over again, I’d go to a store to buy. . . maybe not even this bike. Item big & heavy enough that it has a high probability of damage, and then it costs too much to ship back! Amazon and UPS can and should do better. And Nautilus should be able to send out a replacement part for that particular part OR package with more protection. And they need to fix the seat problem. It does have a faint stink after a good spin, that shouldn’t happen either.
    -One unhappy customer.
