    I guess I am the only person who does not enjoy this dvd.Det felt more like a modern dance class than yoga.Shiva did not have any prep to open up the hips and thighs before moving into some pretty advanced postures. She does not hold any pose for long enough to really be able to breathe in them and her instructions were virtually obefintliga.Det was no “flow”, transitions from one place to another was awkward and unnatural. At least in practice, I did, which is 51 minutes of water-heart-air-forwards bends, there was no real Vinyasa – I would not have called it “vinyasa flow”. I am a yoga instructor myself and after hearing so much about Shiva Rea I was really looking forward to this DVD. I really wish I could have given it a more positive review. I let a couple of my students try it, too, and even they did not like det.Kanske it is because I’m used to a more Ashtanga-based methods, but this really does not know what yoga for me.     Shiva Rea is a development of yoga. She continues on her journey with this DVD. While Flow Yoga was an exploration of the water element, this album hits all 4 parts. It has a slower pace than her previous discs, and the movement is focused and deep. If not for the fire routine, I find myself dissatisfied from the aspect of not having worked myself up into a sweat, so it’s no big surprise that the fire routine is included in most of the pre-defined routines. I still consider this disc a little too easy, especially for Shiva Rea fans like myself who have done Yoga Shakti in years. In addition, the segments are independent units, which means that it has no special training designed. Thus, you find yourself repeating the set you did in the previous segment. I must say that I think that mid split is done too often, there are very deep in the commentary. If you are a fire person I am, you have to let you slow down to point out what she is doing. There are seven 20 minutes routines plus 6 minutes and 6 minutes heart forward bends (plus shavasnana and sun and moon segment meditation). For Shiva Rea fans, I would say that this goes in the direction of her latest disc – a lot of the same trend, with a few new elements. The fire segment included fatigue push-ups (this time only 6 rounds), I like it better that either the Surf and Soul Creative Core and upper body. I like to make Heart-Air, followed by fire, core, forward bends, and then Shanti. Days when I do not want to push-ups so I can replace the fire-water, and then use the 4 elements combined segments instead of Shanti (who is relaxing). I think the earth sequence to be a bit too slow and not challenging enough for me, and to a lesser extent water sekvens.Musiken is nice – very earthy with a bit of a primitive theme. At one point it sounds as we hear rustling branches! It apparently found a nice scenic But since color combinations are just super, and they even carry into Shiva clothes and mat.Totalt seen daily energy consumption is not so physically demanding that many of her other discs. It seems to be designed to suit beginners. I find some of the lower segments that have a deep wisdom that I have not had the patience because I had not slowed me down and knocked in a new direction that Shiva takes oss.Jag is a bit embarrassed by the fact that this appears to have been filmed in what looks like a temple surrounded by idols, some of which also have fruit is placed in front of them. Frankly, I find this offensive. But despite that, I would not give up what the disc has to offer – but I try not to look at the idols too much! Rating: 5 / 5

    I’ve done yoga now for about 3 years and is just about to envoke the yoga certification programs. For home practice, I like Shiva Rea. If you are all about flow and fluid movement of this DVD is it! I love the ability to adapt the methods – and the set them too! It gives the user a wide variation. If you like yoga classes, flow type and enjoy a spiritual and dance practice you’ll love Shiva Rea. I have three of her CDs and they all rock, but I really like this the best hittills.Varning – I would say that this DVD is more for intermediate yogis – you can try this if you are a beginner, but she does and how she flows through this a bit more advanced.     I love this DVD! Most yoga classes I have to run for 90 minutes, and I usually do not have time in my days there. On this DVD are 7 20-minute practice that you can supplement with additional warm-up practice and shavasana, or just make 20-minute practice if it is the only time you have. I was surprised how good workout just 20 minutes of practice can be. All 7 of them are excellent. On the mornings that I do any of these methods briefly, I feel more centered, young and smooth throughout my day. However, you will probably need to have at least the yoga experience, before you order these tapes as Shiva Rea does not give much explanation. The practice of do-able, but they have a challenging year or two in there that I can not do yet. I highly recommend this DVD for anyone who already know some yoga poses, but do not have time to attend yoga classes on a regular basis. Rating: 5 / 5

    I liked the DVD that I have any other Shiva Rea DVD, which was a bit easier to follow. I like how it is broken up because I do not usually get an hour or so to myself! Rating: 5 / 5
