I really like yoga, but it’s just a little too weird for me. The motions and her manner of speech acts in a skit from SNL. Rating: 1 / 5

I have worked with Shiva Rea’s Yoga and Radiant Heart shakthi and really like her way of teaching. Not sure about what she thought of this. She flays limbs around wildly with the rapid flow of instruction, a beginner or even intermediate yoga person can easily damage the body that are wiggling in this way. It’s good to be creative in some form exercise, but yoga is meant to establish peace and stretching, it is not a dance form. Although teachers as Shiva shall establish the degree of complexity, designed for beginner, intermediate or advanced yoga, not for all. This is obvious to the advanced, and also there for those who can wiggle body parts without risk of injury. Rating: 2 / 5

I really like the free flow almost danceable style SALE Shiva’s yoga here. It’s very liberating and meditative to move my body as she instructs, so for that I really enjoy this video, as a stress reliever airports and opening / unload my body and soul. I have not tried much yet, but from the beginner lessons, I found it to be quite utmanande.Det only thing I do not care for it much attitude. I am a water person, not a desert person, as in a desert with no sight of any body of water makes me a bit claustrophobic. just a personal preference. but it is a beautiful environment of white sand with mountains in the background if you like it. oh, and I’m not a big fan of music in the background either, although there seems to be going well with the desert setting. It’s sort of a very soft, soothing Indian music. Again, personal preference. I think some people really enjoy these things. Rating: 3 / 5

I just returned this DVD to the store after it a whirl. Not what I was looking for. Right off the bat, Shiva began swaying her hips and rotating his arms in some odd, fast patterns, without any guidance. Huh? I just want to stress to potential buyers that her style of yoga in this DVD is more dance movements than the product description highlights. Insert “a lot of spiraly swaying and coordination” for the “liquid power.” It has been a good raves lately? Okay, okay, it’s not that extreme, but this DVD is quite unique and probably not suitable for beginners and intermediate people looking for a DVD to help them practice the basics more consistently at home. I have an informal student of traditional yoga (asanas, and the philosophical system) during the last ten years, and this DVD’s strategy really turned around. Of course, Shiva Rea move, but she wants to and learn, but she wants – and the aesthetic outcome of this DVD is quite beautiful. Definitely unique, and it can be a good buy for those who love dance and color outside the lines. Rating: 3 / 5
