Well, I only made it to the third step in the assembly process before I lacerated my thumb and required (3) stitches. So, I don’t have experience using the machine, but I have experience putting it together, and I’m not impressed with what’s required for assembly. The plastic on the sides that covers the arm mounting areas is held in place with little “clip nuts” that are extremely difficult to get lined up and difficult to thread the bolt into. I’m a mechanical engineer, I design assemblies like this for a living, and I’m fairly good at it. Perhaps some of the difficulty was that we are installing the treadmill on carpet making reaching the threaded locations nearly impossible, but can easily think of 100 different ways to attach these side covers without the ridiculous low precision method the Chinese engineers with Sole came up with. If you plan to purchase one of these, be sure to add $50 to the cost for the potential emergency room visit.

That being said, ours came with a free Vuze TV & Stand, so I’m still ahead assuming I can one day soon get it put together and don’t incur any additional injuries!

Id strongly suggest against buying this treadmill. There is a very common problem many of them have, that is a serious pain to fix and Sole’s tech support is not very interested in fixing. After anywhere from a week to a few months of use, many of these shut off after a few seconds use and display “Low Speed Error” on the screen. There’s no way for you to fix it personally. You have to wait a few days for them to call you, then you have to wait for them to ship you a part, and usually that doesn’t fix it and you have to wait for a technician. A quick Google search will show you that many, many people have had this problem and Sole was little help.

For over a thousand dollars this is unacceptable. Buyers beware.

I read a ton of reviews on all the review sites and I can now add my own; the F63 is a great treadmill. I don’t see how people can spend $3000 on treadmills when this one does everything I could possibly need. My daughters and I absolutely love having it.

I ordered this treadmill and it was delivered a short time ago. I selected the in-home delivery and set up option as a means to prevent possible problems with functionality, but I’ve had nothing but problems since it was delivered and I have yet to have a workout on the machine. In contacting Sole, I was advised that “a lot of people are out sick” and they “might be able to contact me late next week to see if it’s something they can ‘walk me through’ or if a service person will have to be dispatched. ” So much for my warranty for this brand new machine – seems like they should just send the service person immediately if they don’t have anyone in-house who can begin to troubleshoot my problems. Very disappointing result after hearing generally good things about this model/brand from Consumer Reports.

Ok, I just received my very first treadmill the Sole F63. Purchased it directly from sole for $999 with no tax and free shipping. It took me about 2 hours to put it together all by myself. I don’t understand how some people are saying they had to buy new screws or this and that. If you follow the directions step by step and make sure you are using the correct screws for the holes they are intended for, you will have no problems whatsoever. Whenever it said to use this certain screw# I would look it up in the instruction manual that was provided to make sure I had the right ones before I used them. Maybe some people were just grabbing whatever and trying to put them in the wrong holes, who knows!! Well anyways, I haven’t used it yet because I JUST got done setting it up. I will update in a few weeks after using it. For now, the treadmill looks very nice and seems well made. Oh and I forgot to mention, for some reason it says this model does NOT have heart rate control but it comes with a wireless heart rate monitor. . . hmmmm. . I’ll try it out to see if it works. .
