On 30 December 2010, I ordered this bike. It came three weeks later in a terribly battered box of parts dropouts. I returned it requests a new one. It is now February 14 and i have not heard anything from the company or Amazon. To say that I would never order from this company again, putting it mildly. Rating: 1 / 5

I ordered this product after doing a lot of research on recumbent bikes. I purchased this product from Bayou Fitness through Amazon. com. The first thing that went wrong was that when it arrived the box was badly damaged during transport and the bike was so damaged that it was impossible to even put it together. I contacted Bayou Fitness requesting a refund. A week later, instead of the money I got a new bike. I was not very happy about it because I had found another one I was considering buying, but I decided to give it another chance. On a happy note, both times I got the 4550 model, which was an upgrade at no additional cost. Too bad this bike did not work! The box were in perfect condition and cycle were not inclined to the last. This time the system was not working. Without computer it is impossible to adjust the voltage and it was so hard it took all of your force to the pedals to move around only once! I contacted Bayou Fitness and was told to contact the manufacturer (Stamina). I told the operator what the problem was and was told that a new computer would be sent out ASAP and it should arrive in 3-5 business days. I waited 10 before calling again. This time I was told that the part I needed was on backorder and had a couple of months now with no date for when it can come in. Now I am getting really ticked off. I contacted Bayou Fitness and told him I wanted my money back and the bike was back in the box all ready to be picked up by Fed-Ex all she had to do was to issue a call tag # as before. Not so fast, I said. Stamina is not a return on damaged bikes, but they issued a loan for the full purchase price and tell me to destroy the bike. Now today. . . exactly two months since I first ordered the bike I have been given the credit to my bank account but I am stuck with a broken bike. If I take it to the dump it will cost me money to throw it away. My advice. . . stay away from Bayou Fitness and Stamina Products! I went to Walmart and got Gold’s Gym power spin 230 R and I love it! And yes. . . They really want me to destroy it – they even sent me an email requesting that I make it! Apparently they expect their customers to manage their garbage! Rating: 1 / 5

This product as described, delivered on time and in perfect condition and works well after installation. I would definitely recommend this product to others. One large item at a good price. Score: 5 / 5

As with any other complaints, computer on my bike was not working. Several letters and calls to Stamina ended with the standard – we are on backorder. . . One month has passed – no computer, no solution. . . The guarantee is to get over. Shame, Stamina! Not recommended. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought this from [. . . ] At the 179th 99 months ago for my own Christmas present. It has been a godsend. It helps me to keep motivated and is an integral part of a 25 pounds weight loss so far. The 4-star rating is because many pieces it comes in and no tension adjustment of the handlebars. Fortunately for me, my son Sam works on putting bikes together at her job so. . . .
