well it seems to work (after the initial install), it seems over complicated bungie this and velcro that ,i’m suprised they didn’t send a bottle of glue and have me assemble the whole thing. it does snug up good after you pull velcro strap A and tie it off to velcro sticky tie part D. i was disappointed it’s not made in the usa . i’m cutting back on china items we need to keep a few manufacturing jobs here in the usa. for the price it could have been manufactured at general motors with 100 dollar an hour labor

I’m amending and upgrading both my comment and my rating, because I’m astonished by the incredible service this company gives. I was having trouble getting this to work with my treadmill because of the sloping top and lack of crossbar, but the developer walked me through it. Before you buy, be sure to go to their website, because there are some machines that it will not work with. But, if they indicate that it will work, believe them. They’ll work with you until it does.

It may work for other equipment, but definitely not for my ellipcal machine. The laptop screen is too close to my eyes to feel comfortable. I ended up returning it after a day.

I was afraid it would not work with my stationary bike, as the console is small and round (a Marcy bike), but I took the digital readout piece off and attached the SurfShelf to the square metal piece that the digital part sits on. I just look at my laptop clock to see how long I bike. So far, so good. I watched a Netflix movie while I biked today, and it was so much better than listening to music and staring at the time on the digital display. I can still velcro the display somewhere else if I decide that I want to use it. LOVE IT!!!

I have used this on my Sole F80 Treadmill and it works great. I have not used it when running, but have used it walking and it makes the time pass by quickly. The set up was easy and it is securely fastened to my treadmill. It is a good product. I was going to buy a new TV to use with my treadmill, but I saved money by using this product and my laptop instead.
