The Venturi filters are great. I actually can’t believe I am still smoking after seeing the sticky brown tar that collects in the filters. It smells awful too! They are disposable, but if you are up for the abdolutely disgusting job, you can clean and reuse them. I popped the orange things out with a toothpick, soaked, cleaned with Qtips and rolled up papertowels and toothpicks. Total pain, probably not worth it but I had run out and I was desperate.

I’ve been using these for quite some time and they really work. I remember there being an adjustment period. You’ll need to get used to it and perhaps even change your draw a bit. Then it quickly becomes the norm for you. I buy in bulk because I only use one filter for 2 cigs, then toss. The comment above about getting some defective ones is true. They need better quality control to get this well under a 5% defective mark – no one likes losing 10% of their order. Hence, the rating of 4 stars instead of 5 from me. Once you see the tar accumulation in the filter, you just feel good about yourself for at least taking a step in a positive direction. This year my next baby step is trying the occasional e-cig substitution to cut back. Over the years my 1 pack a week habit has turned into a 3-pack a day addiction. May you never reach that level.

This thing works pretty well. It actually collects the tar and other stuff in the chamber which is clearly visible without affecting the taste that much. My fingers don’t stink of smoke as well.

I have been a smoker for years. Then I came across with these cigarette filters. I tried magic 25 first, then I saw this bulk bag at a more convenient price. I bought it. To my surprise, I had to throw away about 25 filters from each 100 filter bag I’d purchased. The filters were either not properly pierced at the mouth end or the orange part, which functions as a filter itself was missing. What a waste! To me, the concept is awesome; however, buying in bulks instead of smaller presentations, gave me a pretty bad first impression. Wanna try it out, go ahead! Maybe I have not been as lucky as those consumers who pasted no comments on this regards. . .
