Bought this for my girlfriend to use at the gym with machines there. No label machine at our club picks up its signal (Precor, Life Fitness, or octane). It works well alone, if the user is the intended use. Polar FS1 is the model we have chosen for this purchase, and it works flawlessly. (~ $ 50 @ Target). Rating: 2 / 5

I got a good deal on this watch on Amazon. The same exact watch was $ 80 on a nearby chain store! It comes with a heart rate belt and counts your calories burned and give you your heart beat too. It can function as a regular clock and is easy too! Rating: 4 / 5

I bought and used it for about 5 weeks, every day. After pressing buttons for hours I finally got it set up with my details and it worked well, a couple of weeks. Then it stopped counting calories (one of the main reasons that I wanted this gadget). The next day, it seemed to work again so I went out for another few weeks of daily workouts and calories burned. Then it stopped to count calories again, and never count calories after another. All other functions seemed to work fine, but there was zero calories every day for several days. I finally sent back and I’m looking for a replacement. Darn! Rating: 2 / 5

I purchased this product as my first heart rate monitor watch. I have been very happy with it so far (been using it for a week now). It is easily one of the best looking heart rate monitor watches I’ve seen on the market. It’s very small and thin-lined, especially good for a woman. I only use it to measure the% heart rate, target zone monitoring and count calories. . . very interesting! I hope to learn how to use some of the other features in the coming weeks, especially for running and cykling.En important note: I was surprised how small and narrow chest was the strap! I’m a skinny 5′5 “and 135 pounds woman, and I had to put tape on one of the loosest settings. It feels like it has stretched a little this week, but it is really tight (which I am sure that it must work well … good connection). I do not know how many men could fit the chest strap … maybe very thin, lean running typer.Stora watch heart rate monitor at a good price. Rating: 5 / 5

I have used this heart rate monitor watch for about a month now, and I really like it. You absolutely can not beat the features for the money, is it really attractive to self-athletic kind of way, and the fact that you can change the batteries on your own is a big selling point. Yes, you really need to read the instruction manual to look up (go figure), but when taken care of, it is quite easy to use. I could not be more pleased. Thanks for the great price and free shipping, Amazon! Rating: 5 / 5
