The WaterRower is a good way to improve your fitness. At 64 I did not want to exaggerate. I found you can work like a maniac and take it easy with this. It is up to you. So I have gradually increased the intensity and duration of my rowing. Within a few weeks, I feel already much stronger and it shows up in my weekly tennis matches. Showing also in my mental fitness. I’m just more “there”. Better call in, sharpen my thinking. Rowing has a mild self “rustling” sound that makes it feel you are actually on the water. It is not so high, so you can watch TV or listen to music as you row. Make sure you get the monitor. This information is valuable and helps keep you motivated. This is exactly what I was looking for and I would think that young guys would just work like hell with this and also benefit. Rating: 5 / 5

I have had my WaterRower over the past three years and has an average of five hours a week of fairly serious rowing, with tank filled to the maximum recommended level. Recently, however, plastic containers started to leak. The two halves of the clamshell-like shell that fit together with only about a half inch of overlap sealed with an epoxy-like glue. There is no simple way to repair the joint when it begins to leak. I have tried to tape it and clamping it, but still delicious. I plan on replacing the unit with another model of rowing machine, not WaterRower. It was nice while it lasted, but it should have lasted longer at that price. Rating: 3 / 5

I used to row for USC Crew Team in 1992, and we used to train the attic based rowing machines, I can not remember the brand, but they were very simple in comparison with the modern machines with the awesome computers. I recently tried the Concept 2, and it was great, and seem to be standard equipment for serious workout crew, but it is big and bulky and not easy to store, unless you have a dedicated gym room in hemma.De WaterRower, On the other hand, is easy to undo and sits in the corner of my bedroom. I roll it out on my balcony in the morning to enjoy the cool breeze while I row. I’m trying to fit my workout in the morning before the child wakes up, and I have no problem hearing him during WHOOSH of the water. The WaterRower S4 computer is not as feature rich as PM3 / 4 on the concept of two, but it has everything I need, because I just like to make a basic 10 km or 45 min sessions with a heart monitor. I really enjoy the sound of water, but it reminds me to hear the water run out onto a fiberglass hull of a boat, and the dripping of water between each shot. I have not been in a crew boat years, but the memories will come back when I’m on the WaterRower, and not so much about the concept 2.The would consider myself an intermediate athlete, and this machine really challenges me. I expect that I will have many years of using it. It is made of very good quality components, and looks great ut.Jag rowing strongly recommend to anyone looking for a highly aerobic workout that uses more than 80% of the body’s muscle groups. If you do not get a great workout, you are probably not the right row. Try to join a rowing club in a few months to perfect your technique, you will be working on hemmaplan.Även if it is expensive, I think it is worth the investment, because experience is so much better when the piston or wind-based machines, which makes me look forward to the next workout. By the last few months I have spent much time looking at various rowing machines both online and by visiting various fitness equipment retailer. I decided a long time that if there was a piece of fitness equipment I would never buy it was a rowing machine. For years, I worked out on the famous Concept2 in various local gyms. The Concept 2 is a great fitness machine, but I wanted to see if there was something better out there, before throwing $ 1000 + on this machine. Then I came across WaterRower, and boy am I glad I did! Since I have some experience using Concept 2 (Model D lately), I can list some personal impressions of the two machines so that you will have some comparison data. First of all though, I would point out that I bought my rowing machice for domestic use. I am a relatively fit individual, but not an Olympic athlete. My main desire to buy a rowing machine was to lose / maintain weight, maintain physical fitness and relieve stress. In all these categories, WaterRower came through with shining colors! So, without further ado, no correlation between the WaterRower and Concept 2, and then some tips on själv.Varför WaterRower WaterRower is a better equipment in my opinion? – Much smoother than Concept2 rowing action. Not only because the patented Water Flywheel, but also because, instead of a chain, WaterRower uses pulleys and a high strength tape. The band rolls of industrial grade pulleys, and is virtually silent. The Concept2’s chain makes a sound like metal chain over the cogs advances and because of this, even rattles. It takes away from the natural feeling of rowing .- The Water Flywheel’s sound is incredible. The swooshing water in the tank is incredibly soothing and relaxing. The buzz of air resistance on the Concept2 not compare .- This is the goal, but in my opinion, WaterRower, especially wood series looks much more esthetic than metal construction Concept2 .- The link on the WaterRower is incredible. On the Concept 2 is always a little jerk at the beginning of a stroke, since the link on that machine is not active immediately when you start to apply force to the bar. On WaterRower be dismissed instantly. It is unobtrusive, and jerky feeling is absent .- Storage: if you have limited space, beats WaterRower other out. Standing up there, save it in as little space as a kitchen office. Shops on the corner nicely and looks good. The metal thing of second rowers will not be near easy storage. The Concept2 in particular must be folded first, before it can reasonably be stored. You will not want to do this setup every day, and you will want to use your equipment every day. By WaterRower, the installer is 1 second. Simply flip down. That is all .- Personally, I like WaterRower handle bars much more. It is oblong shaped, so it fits in your hand better. It is also covered by a soft material, it is much better than the hard plastic feel of Concept2’s handle. Although the shape of a bar means more to me, and the WaterRower bar is better than anything else I’ve tried .- The WaterRower seat is very comfortable. The slides on two rails placed about a foot apart, which gives it a much stability. There are vertical and horizontal bearings, four each, so there are eight layers in total. This site provides an incredible stability. I can not certify the longevity of this design, but common sense tells me that eight stocks will lose a lot longer than two at Concept2. The material of the seat is just the right hardness, not too soft, not too hard .- The church is a kick-off the road. I do not know what it means for the assembly of Concept 2, WaterRower but the setup is really easy. If you’ve ever taken anything home from Ikea, and managed to put together, you have a much easier time in your WaterRower rowing machine .- I love the Performance Monitor. I bought the attachment heart rate (at $ 50 it’s a no-brainer) and heart rate zone program is fantastic. Great motivator. Mind you, the Concept 2 also comes with a heart rate monitor and it is as good as WaterRower in this respect, if not bättre.Det who are good at Concept2: – The Concept 2 is I think designed for professional athletes, pro rower. It is considered the top choice for training athletes .- The Concept2 is unusually steady. If it lasts for a gym for several years, it will never break the home .- The Concept2 Performance Monitor is more feature rich in vocational training. I also do not have their heart function recovery analysis, which lacks WaterRower .- The Concept2 Performance Monitor comes with each card, so multiple users can monitor and record their exercise history. WaterRower has not been anything like it .- The Concept2 Performance Monitor can be connected to the network, so you can easily setup races in a gym setting between multiple devices .- The Concept2’s screen is more readable. No arguing about it. Larger, more readable code. With that said, the WaterRower monitor still looks a lot classier to me. And I do not stare at the screen throughout övningen.Bottom line, I think that even if the Concept2 is a great machine, WaterRower is a better fit for domestic use. Both machines will challenge you if you are not a very sophisticated sportsman. Make no mistake about it, rowing is an extremely challenging when done right. Learn how to row properly to avoid damage, take more pleasure in the exercise and to challenge you more. Rowing done in good form will raise your heart rate much easier than rowing done fel.Jag wanted to say a word or two on the WaterRower’s pulse meter and the optional heart rate Annex. Right before I bought the WaterRower, I had already heard a cheap Nike heart rate monitor that I bought at Costco for $ 29. Pretty much the only thing it can do is show your heart rate. And that’s all I needed. Chest strap heart rate monitor that is compatible with the WaterRower heart rate receivers. Do yourself a favor and get the pulse measurement. I can not begin to tell you how much of a difference it makes! Your target heart rate is a very narrow zone. For weight loss, for example, should I train between 60% to 70% of your maximum heart rate. This is a narrow, 10 BPM. Without a monitor, it is impossible to remain consistent in this series. At $ 50, plus a heart rate chest strap (for as low as $ 29) you will achieve much better results and will enjoy your WaterRower much more. The WaterRower will emit a slow beep when you are screaming your target zone, and a rapid beep when you are rowing hard for the selected zone. You just enjoy the rowing, and all you have to do is keep silent screen. That’s why I do not care about that screen WaterRower is not as readable as Concept2-talet.Det is all I can think of right now, hope you found something useful in my review. I wholeheartedly recommend this incredible training tool for anyone serious enough to pursue different goals, be it weight loss, exercise training or strengthening the lower back. (Yes, forgot my sciatica! This machine is great in exercising the lower back and strengthen muscles so you can avoid a recurrence of lower back. But – learn to row properly first!) This plant looks good , last a lifetime (hopefully) and is an excellent all-body, no impact exercise machine. It costs a lot. More than average. But believe me, it’s worth every penny, just because you want to keep on getting it on. Finally, it is done here in North America, and I for one am happy to support our economy, instead of the Chinese economy for once skull.Happy rowing! If I find anything wrong with that, I came back with a uppdatering.Betyg: 5 / 5
