I bought Yoga for Kids that I wanted my children to find an exercise / stretching video and DVD cover touts it as an educational, creative, and out the awards won. I was hesitant at first that we are doing “yoga” because I am not interested in my 3-year-old children to learn about “New Age” and Eastern religious compound. We are a Christian family. But on the DVD cover, it seemed a ofarlig.Jag liked it for the most part except for “ON” and “Namaste” segments. I assume, of course, being a Christian, this should bother me and maybe I should not have bought in the first place. But again, as I said, the DVD does not sound like it would be new-age at all. Do not get me wrong, I expected that it is not religious. I guess I expected that it is entirely devoid of new-age or other religious association. And with the exception of the two segments, it was not really new-agey. But those two were enough for me to get rid of it. Sorry, I know I broke all yoga enthusiasts here, but I wish this video would have come up with animals or other objects instead of “OM” meditation. It was a bit over-the-top for me. I guess these things are central to yoga, so again, I should have been better if with this in mind if I do not want to go there, but I did not know that the children would be meditating, ärligt.Om it does not bother you, this is a good video to do with your children. I liked everything else about it and I really, really wish I could keep it. But for our family, it is not a good fit. Rating: 3 / 5

This video is ok. . . I have used it for ages 3-5 and has found children of these ages would either like to have more instructions on how to do that means as well as learn more, or would something more catching animation related to popular children’s movie stories such as the Disney series. . . The exercises in this movie was pretty good, but I did not expect all the Eastern Buddhist philosophy mumbo jumbo to the teacher for children. I had to shut it down because I do not want my 4 year old son to hear or repeat phrases like “I am you and you are me”, or “I am the light in you and you are the light in me” and “ON “and” Namaste “and” be the flower “. Not what I expected, and a big disappointment. I had hoped that a yoga video for children could leave all this out and that it would be a nice alternative to much of the cheesy aerobic videos out there. So, I’m still looking because my son really wants his own exercise video. Rating: 1 / 5

My almost 3 year old daughter decided that she loved yoga & wanted to do it more often. So, I bought her a couple of DVDs. I loved her adult yoga DVD I already had. . . ! If they must choose between this one (which she demanded we close the first time we played it for her), the DVD the other kids yoga, or an adult one, the adult DVD would win every time. This is sweet, but she does not like it at all. . . Rating: 3 / 5

I bought this DVD for my daughter. I sometimes feel I do not know how to play or interact with her, so I use this video as a time to play with her a fool. It’s fun. Although she can not make the most of which is yet, she loves that I am at her level growling, flying, quacking, swing. Its great mother-daughter time for me, and it is also good exersise. I do not care if nanaste song so I just press the forward button and go to the next letter. I let my friend borrow the video and her children are about 5 and 6 and they thought it was stupid.
